Bumpkin Dairy

Is it just me, or does this bottle make you want a bowl of Kellogg’s Corn Flakes? The Bumpkin Dairy Co deliver organic whole milk produced by a herd of free-range Holstein dairy cows. The milk is not skimmed, separated, or homogenised, and Bumpkin Dairy Co is determined to make milk the way it used to be, and they make that clear with their statement on the back of the bottle. The design of this Bumpkin Dairy Co bottle casts my mind back to the 80s and 90s and reminds me of the design on the Corn Flake’s box. Of course, during the 80s and 90s, a large proportion of the population received unhomogenised, whole milk via the doorstep in glass bottles. For that reason, the bottle’s design, for me at least, is a complete success and has created imagery in my mind of that time and ties in with the aim stated on the bottle of restoring “milk to its former glory”.
