Palmers Farm – Devon
In 1985 Ah-Ha’s ‘Take On Me’ music video released to the public, causing quite a stir with its animation effects. The cow on the front of this lovely bottle looks ready to spring into life, just like the animations in that video. Wind back two-hundred and sixty-two years before Ah-Ha’s hit video, and it’s the year 1723. King George the first is on the throne, and Palmer’s Farm has just been established in Clayhidon, Devon. Since then, it has been farmed by the Blackmore family, and the current farmer is the tenth generation. The farm sits amongst the beautiful Blackdown hills where a herd of seventy-five British Friesian cows while away the days grazing on fresh grass. The milk on offer is fresh pasteurised, non-homogenised whole milk and tastes delightfully delicious. Seating is provided for you to sit and enjoy your milk while surrounded by the beautiful Devonshire countryside. Listen carefully, and you may hear the tinkle of Fiona’s cowbell.
